Terms of service
Plain-English terms for work we do together. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law — and nothing could, because those guarantees cannot be excluded by contract.
Quotes
Written quotes are fixed and valid for 30 days. If we have underestimated the work, that is our cost to carry, not a variation on your invoice. If you change what you asked for, we quote the change before doing it.
Payment
50% on acceptance, 50% on launch. Invoices include GST and are payable within 7 days. Ongoing plans are billed monthly in advance.
What we need from you
Photos, licence and insurance details, logo files if you have them, and answers to our questions. If we are waiting on you for more than 30 days we may pause the project and reschedule it — we will always tell you before we do.
Changes
Two rounds of changes are included in every package. A round means one consolidated set of feedback. Further rounds are quoted up front, never billed as a surprise.
Ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own the website, the content and the domain. We hand over every login at launch. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to, which you are welcome to do.
Cancelling
You can stop a project at any time. You pay for work completed to that point and we hand over what exists. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you cancel in — no notice period, no exit fee.
What we do not promise
We cannot promise a Google ranking, a number of enquiries, or an amount of revenue. Nobody honestly can, and anyone who does is lying to you. What we do promise is the work described in your quote, done properly and on time.
Your rights under the ACL
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law: they must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the purpose we agreed, and be delivered in a reasonable time. If we fail those, you are entitled to a remedy. Nothing in these terms changes that.
